So I found where I keep xampp data in mysql, and my htdocs files in xampp so I could back them up by copying them to another place. I think the E drive version was copied there maybe. I've made several intermittent attempts to build a Drupal site over the years and installed xampp in 2007 and one in 2013. One on the C drive and a another on the E drive from 2007. Somehow, over the years I managed to install a couple, that is two separate, xampp Control Panels v3.2.1.
